These are excellent -- both in content and design :-) Thanks so much for freely sharing. We began an Elections unit study last week, using the Amanda Bennett Elections unit study as our "spine"... But I'm a creative cook when it comes to homeschooling and can't resist adding a little here, a little there, and tweaking the recipe to our heart's content. I will definitely be incorporating your great notebook pages. My 11yo will especially like the propaganda set; she's very into analyzing media marketing these days. God bless -- Susan

Great pages! I just linked this entry to my Elections Unit on my Web page. Please let me know if that is OK. If not, I will take it off. You can find it at this address, under week # 6. President Elections Unit

Yavonn and Cindy,
I'm so glad you're finding these useful! Thank you for letting me know you're using them, it helps me feel like it was worth the time spent. Cindy, I am pleased that you included the pages in your unit study. Thanks for linking to the web site instead of just the pages. This is exactly what I'd prefer. No changes necessary. :)

I found these a little late, but have still used them with my 9 year old. And I adopted some of the ideas for a lesson for my 5 year old. I looked everywhere for a good election notebook lesson and found nothing that even begins to compare! Thank you so much! I added additional lessons for tracking the electoral votes during the general election as well! It is so important that our children understand politics, and government. There are so many uneducated people voting in our elections. Look at this video of people that vote.
